Any usage of the name, platform or any other features belong to GoVetted and may not be used without express written consent by GoVetted.

Changes to the GoVetted Terms of Service are necessary to reflect local, state, and federal regulations. These changes happen periodically, and users will need to acknowledge the changes before their next usage of the application.

Section 1 – Responsibilities

  1. Client

In order to serve our “Client’s” best interest, it is necessary for GoVetted to have some information for the Client. Due to the nature of the business and clients we serve, it is imperative that we know who we are transporting along with who is driving the vehicle. From our clients we have to collect the following information:

During purchase or hailing period of the purchase, the client(s) are responsible for payment and pickup location. The client(s) will be responsible for the entire fare if the driver shows up to the pickup location and the client(s) are not there. This will be verified through the GPS location of the driver’s smart device used for accepting and completing fares.

Client(s) are responsible for their actions during the transportation period. This period begins once the client(s) gets into the vehicle to begin their ride to the requested destination and continues through until the client(s) step foot out of the vehicle and clear the doorway. Any action that causes damage, injury or anything of the like will be charged to the client(s).

The close out period after the transportation has been completed will end when the driver marks the job complete and any after actions (i.e. surveys, reviews, etc..) have been completed.

Gratuity

Gratuity is the responsibility of the client(s). This can either be left in the form of a cash exchange at the time of the transportation or can be placed on the bill before the transportation has been conducted or after the transportation has been completed. It is the responsibility of the driver to report any tips or extra wages to the Internal Revenue Service (IRS).

GoVetted does not accept responsibility for any actions or inactions conducted by the client(s) prior to and immediately after transportation is completed.

  1. Driver

In order for GoVetted to provide client(s) with the best quality transportation, GoVetted requires drivers to go through a very rigorous vetting prior to driving. It is the driver’s responsibility to comply with all requests during and before providing transportation client(s).

  3. Motor vehicle report
  4. Drug screening

Drivers will also submit vehicle pictures and have a vehicle inspection done of the motor vehicle they will be using to provide transportation. This is to ensure that the vehicle will be in top working order and that it falls within the guidelines to represent the GoVetted brand. If any issues or faults are found during the inspection of the vehicle it is the responsibility of the owner to correct the faults and resubmit to a new vehicle inspection.

For vehicle guidelines see Vehicle Inspection section of the GoVetted Terms of Service.

GoVetted is the intermediary between the client(s) and the drivers. The drivers, when active on the GoVetted App, are responsible for the safe upkeep and operation of their motor vehicle. This includes the time that the driver is not active on the App. If in any event the driver is involved in an accident no matter who is at fault or cited with a traffic citation it is the driver’s responsibility to notify the GoVetted Vehicle Insurance Department.

  1. Affiliate

Something that sets GoVetted apart from the competition is the ability for affiliate providers to be a part of the GoVetted network. Affiliates are able to submit their fleet of vehicles for approval in order to provide client(s) with transportation within their operating area.

In order for affiliates to be approved for transportation of GoVetted’s client(s), affiliates are required to submit everything listed above for a driver and also provide company information so that GoVetted can send payment. Affiliates are also responsible to ensuring that their drivers are approved through the GoVetted vetting process.

The prospective affiliate company needs to ensure that all drivers being submitted to drive under the GoVetted name completes the necessary training. If a driver is found to be noncompliant with the GoVetted training the affiliate and driver will be suspended until the driver becomes compliant.

Violators of this policy will be immediately suspended until further investigations have been conducted. During the investigation, affiliate companies are required to submit pertinent information requested by the GoVetted Quality Assurance Department. Once the findings are completed, they will be presented to the affiliate company for actions on recommendations/changes presented.

GoVetted reserves the right to ultimately decide whether or not a company can be an affiliate. GoVetted takes this right seriously and will make every effort to work with all prospective affiliates. If a prospective affiliate has been denied the prospective affiliate has 7 working days to file a rebuttal. If a rebuttal has not been filed during this time the prospective affiliate will have to restart the filing process.

  1. GoVetted

It is GoVetted’s duty and responsibility to ensure the safety and security of the client(s), driver(s) and affiliate(s). 1. Client(s) disputes will be handled through emailing or calling the customer support team. The Customer support team will look into what did or did not occur. If the dispute’s a client(s) payment or any sort of monetary exchange the customer support team will include GoVetted’s finance department.
  2. GoVetted’s customer support and finance department will look into any charge disputes in order to determine any discrepancies with billing or charging. If the client(s) charges are unwarranted or incorrect a refund will be issued within 48 hours after a determination has been made.
  3. Client(s) registration will be handled by the GoVetted client registration department. This department will conduct a small basic vetting process in order to protect the driver from potentially hazardous client(s).
  4. Client(s) profile will be filled out by the client(s), the finalization and confirmation of the client(s) profile will be approved by the client registration department.
  1. Driver(s)

Once GoVetted receives all of the required documentation from a prospective driver, GoVetted will do its due diligence on vetting the prospective driver. GoVetted will submit to federal, state, and local governments the proper information in order to receive background investigation, motor vehicle report and any other necessary documents to ensure that all driver(s) meet GoVetted’s values and corporate guidance.

  1. Upon receipt of all documentation associated with becoming a driver GoVetted will immediately begin the process of receiving all background checks. This timeline can vary due to different federal and local laws.
  2. GoVetted will open up training to the prospective driver. This training is mandatory for all drivers. GoVetted driver liaison department will ensure compliance by all drivers and will notify drivers when they become uncompliant with training or if any training updates have been made.
  3. GoVetted will continuously update driver information as items like drivers’ licenses expiring, insurance expiring, vehicle inspections and any other items that require updates or renewals.
  1. Affiliate(s)

Affiliate(s) is one of the biggest differences between its self and the rest of the competition within this particular market. We want to have the greatest variety of vehicles available to our client(s). This is accomplished by allowing companies to submit vehicles and drivers to GoVetted for use on the platform. GoVetted is responsible for ensuring all personnel that are using the GoVetted App are within company compliance. This includes our affiliate(s) within the network.

  1. GoVetted will look into each affiliate companies requests individually to ensure that the prospective affiliate fits within GoVetted’s values and corporate guidelines.
  2. We will also look to ensure that all appropriate forms are filed with the local, state, and federal government when applicable.
  3. Each driver provided by the prospective affiliate will also be handled individually. This gives the prospective affiliate the best chance for approval.
  4. If one of the submitted drivers does not meet the requirements it does not mean that that affiliate would be disqualified.
  5. We will make every effort to approve affiliates, however if an affiliate is not approved for one of various reasons, that affiliate will have to correct that specific issue and wait no less the 6 calendar months before reapplying.
  6. Any disputes during the enrollment period will be handled through the GoVetted quality assurance team. This team looks into the various reasons as to why drivers and affiliates are disapproved.

This section of the Terms of Service covers client(s), driver(s), affiliate(s) and GoVetted’s responsibilities during the initial phase. This section is subject to change. Any and all changes to this section will need to be acknowledged upon signing into the App once the changes go into effect.

The GoVetted App will only be used for what it was intended for. Any attempt to tamper with, change or manipulate the coding used for the GoVetted App is strictly forbidden. Any attempt to do so will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law within the jurisdiction governing the location.

  1. Suspension Of Account

GoVetted understands things happen, however, there are various things that will cause a client(s) account to become suspended. A suspended account does not mean that the client(s) are permanently suspended in every case, however, it does mean that the client(s) may need to update their profile, payment information or any type of administrative filings.

Client(s) can also have their accounts suspended or banned for severe violations of the Terms of Service. These items include but are not limited to:

  1. Usage of derogatory or offensive terms or language directed to driver
  2. Any comments deemed derogatory or offensive in nature
  3. Vehicle damage not caused by a vehicle accident and is deemed intentional
  4. Usage of an account not belonging to client(s) without the express written approval of the owner of the account
  5. Indecent exposure of client(s) during transportation

  8. Anything not listed above the GoVetted deems excessive, offensive, derogatory or anything of that nature

If in the event the client(s) does not feel as if their account has been suspended wrongly, the client(s) can contact the GoVetted Quality Assurance Department at qualityassurance@govetted.com.

  1. Client(s) Complaints

It is inevitable that a client will not be happy with the transportation that was provided for them. We take every single complaint seriously and we owe it to the client(s), driver(s) and affiliate(s) to make sure that we investigate the incident(s) surrounding the events that occurred. The GoVetted Quality Assurance Department will handle each event and case individually. We will make every effort to close out these complaints swiftly, however, GoVetted reserves the right to take the necessary amount of time needed to ensure that we get the complaint taken care of appropriately.

If the complaint involves an erroneous charge or a charge of the incorrect amount GoVetted will investigate the issue and issue a refund of the amount the client(s) were not responsible for. These types of corrections should be completed within 48 hours, however, in the event the charges were deemed to come from a form of stolen credit information it could take longer.

  1. No-Show Events

No-Show events are when the client(s) ask for transportation and the client(s) are not at the pickup location. Driver(s) are trained and required to make every effort possible to make contact with the client(s). If no contact has been made and an appropriate time has elapsed the driver(s) will mark the transportation as a No-Show and the client(s) will be responsible for 100% of the costs associated.

There are exemptions that can be considered for the No-Show event. Medical, Act-of-God/Nature, Acts-of-terrorism and items of the like will be considered. In the event the client(s) feel that they fall under this category please contact the GoVetted Quality Assurance Department.

Habitual offenders of this section are subject to having their accounts suspended.

  1. Injury Or Bodily Harm

Injuries can and do happen for various reasons. These events cause disruptions to our lives and can seriously affect our abilities to earn income. We take these claims seriously and work to determine how the events surrounding the incident contributed to any injuries.

In the event that the vehicle used for transportation of a client(s) was in an accident/incident it is the driver’s responsibility to mark the transportation given with an incident. If the driver does not mark the transportation with an incident the client(s) have the ability to contact the GoVetted Quality Assurance Department for insurance related questions. If the injury is severe in nature the client(s) have the ability to contact the Quality Assurance Department when the client(s) are cleared to do so.

If the event is reported by the driver GoVetted may attempt to contact the client(s) to ask any questions pertaining to the specific event.

  1. Cancellation Of Account

Clients have the ability to discontinue usage of the GoVetted App at any time they deem necessary. GoVetted accounts are not completely deleted but they are placed in a state of dormancy. Dormant accounts will be just that, a dormant account. All information within the account belonging to the client will be stored within the GoVetted App until the client chooses to delete the information.

GoVetted does this to allow for clients to return easier if they see fit. GoVetted’s goal is to ensure the easy usage of the platform for the end user.

Within Section 2 of the GoVetted Terms of Service Agreement the Client(s) rights are explained. The items listed within this section include but are not limited to the information given above.

This section of the Terms of Service Agreement is subject to change at any time. Any and all updates will be mandatory to acknowledge prior to usage once the changes go into effect.

Section 3 – Driver(s)

Driver(s) are in the second section in the GoVetted life cycle. Our driver(s) are expected to conduct themselves as well-dressed, professional and intelligent individuals. The driver(s) that GoVetted uses are scrutinized and vetted in order to provide our client(s) with the best vehicles, driver(s) and experience found in any given area.

Not only are the driver(s) vetted, there is a heavy vetting done on the vehicle they propose to operate. These vehicles have to fit within the parameters that have been set by GoVetted and need to be maintained while the driver uses the GoVetted App.

Section 3 of the GoVetted Terms of Service will cover the rights of the driver, along with the process required for a driver to become a GoVetted driver.

  1. Registration

Driver(s) are required to register for an account like the client(s), however the driver(s) are required to submit additional items in order to become an approved driver for GoVetted. These requirements that the driver(s) have to go under are to provide our client(s) with the safest mode of transportation that we can.

The registration for a driver has two separate parts to it. The first part is to become an approved driver through the vetting process. This process requires driver(s) to supply GoVetted with the following documentation and information:

  1. First Name, Middle Initial, Last Name
  2. Copy of Driver’s License
  3. Social Security Number
  4. Birthday
  5. Proof of Address
  6. Email
  7. Bank account information (for payments)
  8. Vehicle pictures (inside and out from all angles)
  9. Vehicle year, make and model
  10. Proof of vehicle registration where applicable by law
  11. Proof of vehicle insurance for periods while drivers are off duty
  12. Proof of eligibility to work within the country or area transportation will be provided from
  13. Any other documents requested pertaining to employment

If any one of the items are not provided to GoVetted that driver may not become eligible to provide transportation to clients, or the vetting process may take longer than usual.

  1. Screening

Drivers are required to receive a thorough background investigation in accordance to the U.S government and local laws. This will include but not be limited to;

  1. Sex offender registry investigation
  2. Local, State, and Federal Criminal investigation
  3. Motor vehicle report
  4. Drug screening

If any of the above come back with questionable information, the prospective driver will need to supply GoVetted with documentation stating reason(s) or anything else proving otherwise. If prospective driver is on a sex offender list, fails a drug screening for illegal usage of drugs, violent crimes/felonies or the motor vehicle report having excessive violations that driver will be disqualified to provide transportation.

If for any reason a driver feels as if they were disqualified unnecessarily, please contact the GoVetted Quality Assurance Department.

  1. Vehicle Inspection/Vetting

Having quality, reliable vehicles is important to providing quality transportation to GoVetted clients. GoVetted scrutinizes every vehicle submitted to ensure cleanliness, reliability, and quality. Just because a vehicle is new does not ensure approval, conversely just because it is old does not mean that the vehicle will be rejected.

During the vehicle inspection process the driver will have to supply GoVetted with various items. These items include but are not limited to:

  1. Vehicle Registration for the area and locality of where the vehicle will be operated
  2. Vehicle Lease agreement/ proof of ownership
  3. Vehicle insurance
  4. Pictures of the vehicle in all angles inside and out
  5. Vehicle inspection documentation
  6. State Vehicle inspection if applicable

If anything is missing for the list above the driver will have an appropriate amount of time to supply GoVetted with the proper paperwork. If the paperwork is not submitted within seven (7) working days of the information being requested, the driver(s) service could be postponed and/or denied.

The items listed is not limited to the above list and at any time GoVetted may request additional documentation. Vehicle Registration, proof of insurance, and vehicle inspections are due annually. This information is the responsibility of the driver and any delays in submitting them to GoVetted could disrupt service to the driver.

  1. Vehicle Requirements

GoVetted takes vehicle quality and reliability seriously. There are several parameters that vehicles will have to adhere by. These guidelines will be followed; however, some exceptions will be made for certain types of vehicles. The basic guidelines that are used are:

  1. Vehicle is required to be no more than 10 years old
    1. Exceptions can be made for registered classic cars
  2. Vehicle cannot have a rebuilt title
  3. Vehicle must have serviceable tires, windshield wipers, doors, windows, locks, seat belts, act.
  4. Vehicle must undergo a complete vehicle inspection by an independent inspection facility

All deficiencies will be cataloged and will need to be corrected prior to approval for service with GoVetted. Once the deficiencies have been corrected and verified the vehicle will be approved for providing client(s) transportation.

  1. Driver Vehicle Insurance Requirements

Drivers are required to obtain and maintain vehicle insurance even while not working under the GoVetted App. The specific insurance requirements are dictated by the local governing body within the area in which the vehicle will be driven and housed.

Failure to obtain vehicle insurance for periods while not providing transportation to clients for GoVetted the driver(s) service could be suspended and/or canceled. Any incidents or accidents during non-transportation periods is solely the responsibility of the vehicle owner and not GoVetted.

If at any time a driver is determined to not have vehicle insurance during periods when not covered under the GoVetted insurance plan their account will be immediately suspended until the problem has been rectified.

It is the driver’s responsibility to maintain the insurance and ensure that GoVetted has the required documentation to verify insurance coverage.

GoVetted takes zero responsibility for the action or inaction of the driver during periods not covered under the GoVetted Insurance Policy.

  1. Missed Pickups

There will be periods of time where a driver may be stuck in traffic, a family emergency may happen or any other circumstances that may arise that would cause a driver to miss a pickup. GoVetted understands this and exceptions can be made for various different circumstances.

GoVetted also understands that drivers are only people and we make mistakes. GoVetted works diligently around the clock to minimize these mistakes, but they still can happen. This goes along with missing pickups, being late for a pickup or any problem that may occur. GoVetted keeps a log of all of the driver’s actions and inactions throughout their time working under the GoVetted App.

In the event that something occurs that will cause the driver to miss a pickup or pickup time it is the responsibility of the driver to notify GoVetted immediately. This will allow for the potential to assign the transportation to a driver that might be closer or will be able to conduct the pickup within a timely manner.

Drivers that are deemed to be constantly late or missing pickups will fall under the GoVetted warning system.

  1. Client Complaints

Complaints are an inevitable part of operation. Driver(s) are not immune to this problem and GoVetted understands that completely. This is why we do not take complaints lightly and we investigate any complaints individually to ensure that fault can be determined.

GoVetted will follow a specific protocol when dealing with client(s) and driver(s) complaints. In the event a complaint is received about one of the drivers, GoVetted will look into the circumstances surrounding the complaint. This will include speaking to both the client and the driver. This will aid in establishing if the driver or the client made a mistake or broke from protocol during the transaction.

If the complaint is found to be in the offensive, derogatory or insensitive nature that driver will be terminated for usage and service.

Once fault has been determined or not GoVetted will issue determination to both the driver and the client. This will close out the complaint process.

  1. Complaints About Clients

It is inevitable that there will be clients that will be disruptive. Like clients being able to lodge a complaint of the driver, the driver is in turn able to lodge complaints about clients. These complaints are taken seriously and will be handled on a case-by-case basis. All cases will be investigated to ensure that actions surrounding the event contributed to the incident.

Complaints need to be lodged during the closing out of the fare by placing an incident within the transportation. This will initiate the complaint process. GoVetted will make initial contact from that point within 72 hours.

Complaints in the nature of being derogatory, offensive or insensitive in nature will be handled with the upmost care. If it is determined that the comment or comments were of this nature the client will be notified immediately and their account would be suspended.

  1. Driver Warning System

The driver warning system is to allow for the driver to correct poor customer service or any other deficiencies that the driver might have. The warning system is as follows:

  1. First Warning is a posted warning within the GoVetted App system.
  2. The Second Warning will lock the driver out of the GoVetted App for a period of seven (7) days and the driver will be required to go through the GoVetted training program again.
  3. The Third Warning will permanently lock the driver out of that specific account in the GoVetted App and would require for the driver to go through the entire process of gaining approval again. The time required for a driver to wait from getting permanently locked out and refiling to become a driver again will be six (6) calendar months.

This warning system is in place only for a complaint that is confirmed valid. Unverified claims will not be subject to the warning system.

  1. Payments To Driver

Payments to the driver are extremely important. Drivers would not want to provide transportation without compensation. GoVetted works around the clock to ensure that the clients have transportation and drivers and affiliates are paid correctly.

  1. A single day is defined as a given day from the time of 12:00am–11:59pm. This is how GoVetted calculates when payment periods begin and end.
  2. Drivers are paid during the 24-hour period after the transportation was provided. This allows for the GoVetted Finance Department to tabulate the payment to the driver.
  3. If there are any discrepancies in payment the driver needs to inform the GoVetted Finance Department immediately, so the payment can be corrected. If the payment was found to be correct no action will be taken.
  1. Tax Withholding

Taxes are not withheld for driver payouts. Drivers fall under the governing bodies tax guidelines for the wage taxes. If is imperative that the drivers file the proper documentation when it comes to filing income taxes.

GoVetted’s responsibility for the driver to file taxes is for GoVetted to provide the driver with the proper documentation for the specific location that taxes will be filed. GoVetted will submit the documents in accordance to local, state, and federal laws where required.

GoVetted takes zero responsibilities for the actions or inactions of the driver not filing the proper documents for tax filing purposes. In the event the driver is audited, or legal action has been taken against the driver, GoVetted will not provide the driver with any legal assistance and will only be required to submit documents to the driver regarding that specific proceeding.

  1. Cancellation Of Account

Accounts cannot be fully canceled. They will be placed in a dormant status. It is the driver’s responsibility to scrub their account of personal data and not the responsibility of GoVetted. GoVetted does this for the purpose of allowing clients, drivers and affiliates to revive the account for use. This makes the process of reregistration quicker and easier.

Within Section 3 of the GoVetted Terms of Service Agreement the Driver(s) rights are explained. The items listed within this section include but are not limited to the information given above. This section of the Terms of Service Agreement is subject to change at any time. Any and all updates will be mandatory to acknowledge prior to usage once the changes go into effect.

Section 4- Affiliate

The affiliate network within the GoVetted is the final leg of the GoVetted life cycle. Affiliates are just as important to the network as the single drivers are. They are able to provide clients with a wider variety of vehicles that the single operators may not be able to provide.

  1. Registration

Affiliates are subject to all of the registration process of the driver(s), but they also need to provide further documentation to verify they are a viable and real company. These affiliate companies are required to provide GoVetted with a copy of these required documents:

  1. W-9
  2. EIN Number
  3. Business License for the location they operate in
  4. All documents listed for the driver(s) for all driver(s) they want listed and used on the GoVetted App
  5. All items listed for vehicle approval for each vehicle needing approval

The documents listed above are the minimum needed and any other documents GoVetted deems necessary will be requested when they are needed. GoVetted will make every effort to approve all vehicles listed, however the vehicles that are not accepted will need to correct the deficiencies prior to operation. Just because one vehicle is not accepted it does not mean that all vehicles will not be accepted. Each vehicle will be examined and treated separately.

  1. Vehicle Inspection/Vetting And Requirements

All vehicles that are going to be used for transportation using the GoVetted App are required to undergo the same inspection and vetting system. The requirements for vehicles are exactly the same for the driver and affiliate. This is to ensure that only quality vehicles are used and gives drivers the same ability for approval as affiliates.

See Section 2 Paragraph C and D for vehicle vetting and requirements.

  1. Client Complaints

As with the drivers, affiliates will eventually receive a customer complaint from the transportation they received. While GoVetted understands that this will occur, GoVetted will take the complaint seriously and attempt to verify if the complaint is valid. If the complaint is valid then GoVetted will take steps in order to correct the problem to ensure that the problem does not occur again.

One of the differences that affiliates have is that the drivers are handled individually, however, if multiple drivers from the same affiliate have issues GoVetted reserves the right to examine the relationship between the two. If it is determined that GoVetted and the affiliate need to part ways, GoVetted reserves the right to part ways without notification.

  1. Affiliate Warning System

Affiliates are covered under the same system the drivers are. This means the affiliate has plenty of chances to correct any issues while continuing to operate. If the issues are not corrected the affiliate could have their account suspended or canceled.

For more information regarding this policy please see Section 2 paragraph H.

  1. Payments To Affiliates

Affiliates fall under the same payment plans as the drivers. It is the affiliates responsibility to pay the driver for the work that was performed. Even though the drivers are required to be approved for transportation they ultimately work for the affiliate. It is up to the affiliate to determine their pay periods.

While GoVetted claims no responsibility for the affiliates failure to pay, the driver does have the availability to make GoVetted aware that the affiliate is not practicing good business ethics. GoVetted will look into the claims and make a determination as whether or not GoVetted will continue the affiliate relationship.

*Legal Disclaimer Regarding Driver Wages Pertaining to Affiliates*

It is not the responsibility of GoVetted to pay for any damages or loss wages for the failure of an affiliate to pay their drivers. If this does occur any actions will be that of the governing body within the area the failure to payment occurs. Local, state, and federal laws apply.

  1. Affiliate Insurance Requirements

Affiliate are required to show proof of insurance prior to becoming an affiliate. This is to ensure that the vehicle is legal to be driving within the locality it will be used in. While a vehicle is not being used as a transportation vehicle under the GoVetted App the vehicle’s insurance will be provided by the owner of the vehicle. Failure to have vehicle insurance will cause an immediate suspension of the account until the owner obtains insurance for the vehicle.

The amount of insurance required for the vehicle is subject to where the vehicle is housed and subject to that jurisdiction’s laws and regulations.

GoVetted takes zero responsibility for drivers that do not obtain insurance for the vehicle while not in service for GoVetted.

GoVetted’s insurance policy is only active during the time while the vehicle is being used for the purpose of transportation under the GoVetted App. This policy is outlined in Section 5.

  1. Affiliate Account Cancellation

Affiliates reserve the right to discontinue their account at any time for any reason they deem necessary. While the account will be no longer be used GoVetted keeps that account in the registry in the event the affiliate would like to recontinue service with GoVetted. When the account is in the discontinued state all information will remain in the account. It is the responsibility of the account owner to scrub all information from the account.

  1. Tax Withholding

Taxes are the responsibility of the affiliate and not GoVetted. GoVetted will not separate taxes out of the payments due to affiliates for their work. Proper tax filings are required by local, state, federal taxes and they are explicitly the responsibility of the affiliate.

At the end of each quarter and the end of the year, GoVetted will supply the affiliate with the proper paperwork for correct filing for that fiscal year. If the correct documentation is not presented to the affiliate, it is the affiliates responsibility to request the correct documents for filing.

GoVetted takes zero responsibility for any tax deficiencies the affiliate is responsible for. Any actions by the jurisdiction government is entirely the responsibility of the affiliate.

Within Section 4 of the GoVetted Terms of Service Agreement, the Affiliate(s) rights are explained. The items listed within this section include but are not limited to the information given above. This section of the Terms of Service Agreement is subject to change at any time. Any and all updates will be mandatory to acknowledge prior to usage once the changes go into effect.

Section 5 – GoVetted Insurance Policy During Operation

Vehicle insurance is a part of operating a vehicle whether for work or for pleasure. It is a necessity that we are all burdened with when owning or leasing a vehicle. Insurance protects not only the drivers involved in an incident but also any bystanders or passengers in the vehicles.

GoVetted is required to provide drivers with insurance while they are providing clients with transportation. There are three phases that occur when a driver becomes active with on the GoVetted App.

The first phase is when the driver becomes active on the GoVetted App but has not yet taken a fare. At this time the driver will be covered by their own vehicle insurance. If any incident or accident occurs during this phase it is the driver’s insurance that will cover the incident.

The second phase begins when the driver takes a fare from the GoVetted App. At this point GoVetted insurance will go into effect. The insurance will remain in effect until the client has been dropped off at the location of their choosing.

The third and final phase is after the driver has dropped off the client and is waiting for a new fare. During this phase the driver’s personal vehicle insurance will be in effect and remain in effect until the driver takes another fare.

Any incidents/accidents involving drugs or alcohol are subject to a drug test and could potentially affect the insurance claim. If drugs or alcohol are to blame, GoVetted’s insurance policy is not liable for damages; the vehicle’s owner is the liable party.

Within Section 5 of the GoVetted Terms of Service Agreement the GoVetted Insurance policy is explained. The items listed within this section include but are not limited to the information given above. This section of the Terms of Service Agreement is subject to change at any time. Any and all updates will be mandatory to acknowledge prior to usage once the changes go into effect.

Section 6 – Fees, Charges, Expenses And Driver Payout

With all services provided there are fees and expenses that are incurred. Ridesharing is no different. Drivers and Affiliates need their payouts, and any other charges or expenses reimbursed for the transportation. This is done by the client(s) paying the fare for the transportation.

  1. Fares

Transportation fares differ from ride to ride and from location to location. The same distance of a ride from the airport to a hotel in New York City and the same in Nashville, TN, may cost a different rate. This is due to the costs associated with transportation within that particular market.

  1. Quote Rates

GoVetted offers each client the cheapest and most efficient route to their location. This is the route that the driver is required to take unless otherwise specified. The price that is given to the client is using this manner. If the driver is asked to go a different route, or the client(s) ask to stop at a location that is not listed within the quote, there will be more costs incurred by the client. The cost can include but are not limited to; additional fuel costs, fuel surcharge cost, tolls, or permits needed for the transportation.

These costs will be added as a new charge after the trip has been completed and assessed.

  1. Fixed Rates

There are some circumstances where there are assigned prices to general locations. These are specified locations that will be determined based on continuous flows of transportation between these locations. This could be as simple as an airport pickup to a very specific location like a nearby hotel without any deviations from the preplanned route. These rates may change based on fluctuations in fuel and other related costs.

GoVetted reserves the right to change the rates at any time to reflect any changes in the cost of living, or changes in the cost of supplies or fuel.

  1. Refunds
  1. There are circumstances where refunds will be given. If a client requests transportation and the transportation has not been assigned the client will be given a 75% refund of the costs associated with the transportation. If the transportation has been accepted by a driver, the client will not receive a refund.
  2. In the event that the client does not show up on time, is not at the requested pickup site or any other event that may occur the client will be charged the full amount and will not be entitled to a refund.

GoVetted understands that life changing events happen in the world. It is GoVetted’s policy to consider some of these events when assessing a refund. If at any time a client feels that they fall under this guideline, please contact the Client Support Team.

Within Section 6 of the GoVetted Terms of Service Agreement the GoVetted Refund policy is explained. The items listed within this section include but are not limited to the information given above. This section of the Terms of Service Agreement is subject to change at any time. Any and all updates will be mandatory to acknowledge prior to usage once the changes go into effect.
